This is a straight forward descent, make sure you are in the right couloir. There are cliffs and hazards all around this area. It is a steep, 50 degree, ski run that can be dangerous. Timing is important on a ski descent like this one. The Left side is wider and a little less steep compared to the right side of the Y. There are safety zones the whole way down.[more]
A 3.5 Mile tour that has relatively easy nordic trails. The touring center is in North Brookfield, and goes through an apple orchard, where you can of course get yummy apple treats.
How to Get There
Take the Mass turnpike to Route 20 in Sturbridge. Take 20 East to Rte 49. Take 49 to 9, where you will take a left and head to East Brookfield. Turn onto Harrington Street and follow signs to Brookfield Orchards.
This is private property and it is suggested to call ahead for snow conditions
