Featured Descent

Aladdin’s Coulior

From the drop in the route heads to the skiers right down a relatively wide chute, which bends left approximately half way down. There can be a short ice pitch on the lower part. Once out of the Couloir ski out of the corrie back to the ski area.

The intial slope is the steepest section and often corniced. The remainder is at less than forty degrees. An easier entrance can be had on the skiers left. A fall in the top section is ill advised as it could result in the skier tumbling down Aladdin's Mirror Direct.

Details

Treasure Mountain is just to the West of the wolf creek ski are and to the south of the Hwy.  This is a backcountry playground for both skiers and snowmobilers.

How to Get There

There are a few ways to reach treasure mountain.  One is from the top of treasure lift one can leave the resort hiking to the east through treasure pass and up towards the peak.   Another way is about two miles east of the pass there are some pullouts to park on the south side of the road.  Walk to the south towards the obvious pass between the ski area and a small knob which holds the Hour Glass and Gnome Chutes.  From here you can head to any spot to ski.
