From the drop in the route heads to the skiers right down a relatively wide chute, which bends left approximately half way down. There can be a short ice pitch on the lower part. Once out of the Couloir ski out of the corrie back to the ski area.
The intial slope is the steepest section and often corniced. The remainder is at less than forty degrees. An easier entrance can be had on the skiers left. A fall in the top section is ill advised as it could result in the skier tumbling down Aladdin's Mirror Direct.[more]
This is a bowl that is tucked back in off the North Face of Lobo Overlook. It previously has had large avalanche implications as it is a perfect angle. Lately it is so skier compacted on a regular basis that I do not foresee much slide potential but I would still apply your Avy eyes.
How to Get There
Head back on the Lobo lookout road until you see the bowl pictured. Hike either up the left side ridge which is steeper and more direct or follow the road which switchbacks on the right side. Ski down the powder and repeat.
