From the trailhead, skin up a narrow and sometimes tricky drainage; the track will stay left of the creek until you reach a small bridge just past the wilderness boundary sign. Cross this bridge and up the track to the signage for Gobblers. Head northwest (left) into an open drainage. Continue in this direction staying right of the creek until you reach a large aspen stand. Head up the hill (west) and switchback up through the aspens to the summit of Circle Awl. From here you can look into the Circle Awl slide path to the south and Mill A to the west. There are many options from here to descend through the aspens; I have found that the most open run is slightly south through the trees. You can also ski down the south ridge and get shots right down to the parking lot. See a good map here. It defaults to a street map so you will have to change the map layer to Topo.
Good tree skiing for a quick outing.
