Approach

Begin from the spruce creek TH.  Skin up the spruce creek road to the intersection with the aqueduct road.  Follow the aqueduct road for a couple hundred yards (you will find a gate about 100 yards in).  After the gate, head west (left).  There a prominent gully (steepest part of the terrain which can make for fun skiing) in the middle of the face, so choose your route wisely.

Equipment Needs

standard touring and avy gear

Descent

this descent is mostly on an open face.  Once below treeline, it's relatively easy to stick to the more open trees.
