Approach

We skied this Saturday March 26, 2011.  This chute is much narrower than the S, more like a V shaped ravine.  The ascent is steeper than the S, with slope angles probably up to 38 degrees, and some places you will have to either side step it or take off your skies and boot pack it.  About a third of the way up a skin track went off to the right onto the ridge next to it and I was able to switchback up that skin track without taking off my skis.  My buddy went up the chute direct and had to take his skis off twice.

Equipment Needs

Nothing special required, but definitely take a beacon, probe, shovel, and a buddy that knows how to handle himself.

Descent

The top of this chute was about 36 - 38 degrees so don't do this during considerable avy danger.

No trees or cliffs, pretty smooth all the way down.

It's pretty tight, not a lot of room to turn.  Do it once but the S is more fun.
