Approach

Approach via the parking area on the south side of the road across from the Lisa Falls TH. Head south down a broad trail from the road down to the river. Cross the river via the best way possible. Skin or boot up the debris fan; at some point it becomes too steep for skinning but just right for booting. Stairmaster to the top. Wait for solid conditions and cool weather for the best ride.

Equipment Needs

Skis/board. No technical equipment is needed for this couloir.

Descent

Perfect and steady 40 degree descent. Be cautious of parties on the way up; this is a popular hike.
