There are several ways to work your way down through the Chutes. You can ski both chutes via the relatively open fall lines, but you don't have to be blind to see the obvious tree runs surrounding the chutes, as well as the numerous pillow/cliff drop options.
Because most of the snow is wind-deposited, there can be some spots that are uber deep, but directly adjacent to a pillow might be only a couple of inches covering rocks. Remember this when you are thinking about going big. Also, some of the landings can be surprising flat.[more]
