Russell Peak North Shoulder

The North Shoulder is a little bit more mellow, and is often the backup option for people heading up there. You ski almost along the ridge on the north side, back down towards the pumphouse basin.  The north shoulder is generally a little bit sheltered and the snow is a little colder, but it is also windblown.
