Details

Alaska is known for its great snow, huge lines, and amazing terrain, but it is also generally quiet, not very crowded, and has a ton to offer. Some of the best helicopter accessed backcountry is in Alaska, as well as touring options

How To Get There

Get on a plane and head towards the ocean, then turn around and go up into the hills! There is some great skiing just outside of major cities

Camping

There is plenty of camping in Alaska, although winter time it is better to stay inside!

Where To Eat

Anchorage has a lot to offer, and if you are going south, you should probably swing by the Bake Shop in Girdwood. Midnight Sun Brewery in anchorage has great grub and beers

Access Information

There is a lot of terrain accessible to a lot of people. Some of it has snowmobile access, and other access is limited do to private property, but generally the are not a lot of access issues in this state.
