    Approach

This is pretty easy access from the parking lot at the country store, and there is some more challenging terrain.  Slalom Glade is one of the more challenging routes at the Brookfield Orchards Ski Touring Center. From the parking lot, there are 2 ways to get to this area.

More difficult: Head Left up the Toll road for a very brief distance, then turn left.  This is Lower Mac Run, and will put you at the base of the Slalom Run.  You can continue straight to the Meadow's Area, or you can turn right to Slalom Run.  You can complete loops in this area, and then continue on to crisscross the orchards.

Less Difficult: Head left out of the parking lot up the Toll Road, then after about 750 feet, you will turn left at the top of the small hill. Follow the trail straight (if you take a left, it will be on Slalom Run) and this will put you into the Meadow's Area, where you can crisscross around the orchards.

    Equipment Needs

This is a nordic area, so bring nordic skis

    Descent

This is a more treed area with slightly more difficult trails.
